The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) is keeping open, until 31 October, the registration period to attend the course of advice on agricultural and livestock farms, framed in the ‘Plan de Formación continua 2024 para técnicos del Medio Rural’ (Continuous Training Plan 2024 for technicians of the Rural Environment).
The main objectives of this course are to provide an overview of the operation of advisory systems, to present the essential elements of the latest reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), as well as other useful subjects for the modernisation and improvement of the competitiveness of farms.
During the course of the course, different aspects related to the main features of the CAP Strategic Plan 2023-2027, rural development policy, the promotion of innovation and digitalisation, environmental aspects, the Department’s actions in favour of women, young people, etc. will be addressed, and practical cases of advice will be presented.
The course is aimed at active farm advisors and professionals with an interest in developing in this field, such as farmers, staff of regional agricultural offices, professional agricultural organisations, cooperatives and technicians working in different areas of the rural environment.
