The Government of Aragon subsidizes 23 new innovation and cooperation projects in the agri-food sector.
The Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Environment has approved 23 new innovation and cooperation projects, in the call of the National Strategic Program of the CAP 2023-2027 for this year.
An initiative that aims to address practical solutions to problems in the agri-food and forestry sector that require technological developments or applications of existing or innovative technologies.
This eighth call has an endowment of 3 million euros, which covers 80% of the costs incurred in the implementation of the projects.
The 23 innovative projects of the Operational Groups cover very different fields: 14 correspond to the agricultural field, with precision agriculture techniques in 6 of them; while the other 9 are developed in the livestock field, management of by-products and biomass, and innovative marketing.
As of this call for proposals, the name of the Cooperation Groups has been changed to European Innovation Partnership (EIP) Operational Groups.
The grants per project are a minimum of 30,000 euros and a maximum of 200,000 euros, with an execution period of four years, from 2023 to 2026. Among the beneficiary legal entities are professional agricultural organisations, cooperatives, agri-food companies and industries, irrigation communities, livestock and health defence associations or entities related to environmental protection and biomass production.
