Good flavor, very thin skin and fleshy inside. These are the characteristics of ‘Perón’, the best old tomato in Spain that is grown in Zaragoza by ‘Huerto es vida’. This distinction was won this weekend after being proclaimed champions of the V National Antique Tomato Fair of Santa Cruz de Bezana (Cantabria), a contest in which producers from all over the country participate with 61 varieties.
