The Aragonese Committee of Organic Agriculture has opened the process of calling for elections.
The elections will be held next October 4, 2023.
Zaragoza 17/8/23. The Aragonese Committee of Organic Agriculture has initiated the process of calling elections for members of the Governing Board. Today, August 17, 2023, begins the electoral process convened by the president of the Committee by mandate of the Governing Board that will conclude on October 4 with the celebration of the election day.
After the publication of the lists, nominations may be submitted as of September 9. Registered operators with a valid certificate and up to date with payments may submit their candidacies.
The election campaign will begin on September 22 and will last 10 days.

Organic Agriculture in Aragon is organized through the Aragonese Committee of Organic Agriculture, which was created by Order of April 20, 1995 of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Forestry of the Diputación General de Aragón (BOA No. 54), currently regulated by Law 9/2006 of November 30, of Food Quality in Aragon to develop in the territory of the Autonomous Community, organic production systems based on Community Regulation 2092/1991, repealed by Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labeling of organic products and developed by other regulations.
