Schools create gardens to promote organic agriculture and biodiversity conservation

Schools and institutes in the regions of Jacetania and Alto Gállego participate in the project ‘School gardens in the Aragonese Pyrenees: Ecological agriculture and conservation of plant diversity’, an initiative of Adecuara, framed in the Rural Development Project of the Cooperation Group for Ecological Production linked to the Aragonese territory.

Its objective is to work and make the students aware of organic farming and the importance of conserving biodiversity.

The project began last school year and is continuing this year with the delivery of material to the schools so that they can work in the school gardens and monitor their progress.
